ASH BODY
Swamp Ash is one of the most popular and widely-used woods for solid-body electric guitars and basses. It is light weight but has a surprisingly strong, tight and punchy sound with emphasis on the high-midrange. This character makes Swamp Ash a beloved tonewood of discriminating bassists who want a strong fundamental tone that will cut through and be heard clearly in the mix. The natural beauty of Swamp Ash with its distinctive grain patterns make it ideal for transparent and natural finishes.
MAPLE FINGERBOARD
Unknown to many guitar players, the fingerboard is a vital component of the overall sound of the guitar. Maple is a very popular choice due to its rigidity and stability but also for its strong high-midrange punch and articulation. It also feels smooth and slick as well as providing a classic woody look to the overall aesthetic of the instrument.
CANADIAN HARDMAPLE NECK
The Canadian hard Maple neck provides power and stability as well as contributing a beefy and punchy tone with a strong upper midrange.
H-S-S PICKUP CONFIGURATION
This popular pickup configuration with the 5-way switch provides a wide variety of sounds to cover virtually any musical style. With the middle and neck pickups alone or in combination, the sounds are not only ideal for rhythm playing but for distinctive single-coil lead sounds.
NECK-BODY JOINT BEVELED HEEL
Unlike the square-cut heel of traditional bolt-on guitars, the heel on the G-Series guitars are beveled round for easier and smoother access to the frets in the high register of the fingerboard.
